Saint Petersburg State University Hospital is a unique medical institution in Russia. Saint Petersburg State University Hospital is one of the oldest medical institutions in St Petersburg and the Northwestern region with a long history and tradition.

It is a multidisciplinary medical institution that operates under the compulsory medical insurance (CMI) system. It also provides high-tech medical care under voluntary medical insurance contracts (VMI) and contracts with organisations. Additionally, it offers medical care on a paid basis to Russian residents and citizens of other countries (International travel).
