The surgical treatment is performed for the following pathologies:
-
uterine myoma,

benign ovarian tumors,
-
common types of endometriosis,
-
intrauterine pathology (polyps, endometrial hyperplasia, intrauterine synechia, etc.),
-
cervical pathology (ectropion, leukoplakia, dysplasia, carcinoma in situ),
-
pelvic prolapse,
-
urinary incontinence in women.
The department has accumulated experience in the non-surgical treatment of the cervical precancer (CIN) by photodynamic therapy (PDT) with a high cure rate.
Gynecological oncology (Oncogynecology)
Among the specialists of the department the oncologist works, several doctors in addition to obstetrics and gynecology are also certified in oncology. Patients with malignant diseases of the cervix, uterus and ovaries receive a consultative and surgical help.
In the department surgical staging procedures in cases of female tract malignant diseases are performed, as well as surgical treatment in different volumes:
-
Uterine cancer – total/radical hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (laparoscopy or laparotomy)
-
Cervical cancer – Wertheim’s hysterectomy (with ovarian preservation and transposition, if necessary)
-
Ovarian cancer – Primary or Interval Debulking surgery.
The main principle of the department's work is a purely individual, informal and comprehensive approach to each patient, which in combination with the tremendous experience of the staff will allow you to achieve the best possible results.
